Who may apply for the Book Grant Gift?

How will I know if I have won?

You will receive notification by mail in June or July if you are awarded the book grant gift.

 

When do I get my award?

Awards are set up in the form of an open account in the recipient’s name at the bookstore or the Business Office of the school that the recipient will be attending. This gift is specifically for the purchase of class textbooks and qualified class-related school supplies.

 

What if I don’t use all of my award in a semester?

Remaining award balances, if any, will remain in the student’s account and shall be applied toward the purchase of textbooks and qualified class-related school supplies for the following semester.

 

What happens if I forget to send all the forms with my application?

You must mail all completed application forms at the same time or your application will be immediately disqualified.

 

What happens if I decide to change schools after I have received notice I am a recipient for the fund?

You must notify this office with your new college information as of the date on the application so the award can be transferred to your new college. No transfers will be accepted after that date and your award will be forfeited.

 

Is the grant an automatic renewal?

No, recipients must apply each year for the book grant gift.
